Q.E.P. Co., Inc. Charity Renovation Project
Boca Raton, FL – December 9, 2015– Team QEP collaborated with the American Association of Caregiving Youth (AACY) to help a local family in need. From a complete makeover of their house to a renewal of the exterior landscaping over 50 volunteers teamed up to make a difference. Inside was a comprehensive makeover, including new subfloors, FAUS laminate flooring, paint, general repair and interior decorations.
In this particular Boynton Beach, Florida, household, the children take care of their single and ailing mother. The AACY introduced this family to QEP and then the action started. QEP teamed up with our local partners at Home Depot Deerfield Beach Store #218 and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company of West Palm Beach to provide generous donations to make this project an overwhelming success. After a long week of work, the final reveal came Friday evening as QEP introduced the renovated home to the mother and her daughters.
The family sent a heartfelt message to all of the team QEP sending their thanks, “how grateful we are for everything you have done for us. We are very happy and enjoy our new home.” The mother went on to say, that her and her two daughters “finally have a home I love thanks to amazing people”.
